Meckwell announces the formation of a joint venture with MarineTech Subsea GmbH, a leading European subsea service company. The new JV—MechSea Solutions GmbH—will combine Meckwell’s ESP manufacturing expertise with MarineTech’s subsea installation and maintenance capabilities to offer end-to-end well-intervention services.

JV Objectives:

1.Integrated Downhole Solutions: Provide turnkey subsea ESP deployment services, including offshore rig support, subsea control module integration, and real-time monitoring.

2.Shared R&D Efforts: Collaborate on developing subsea-rated ESP control systems and specialty high-pressure seal cartridges for use in deepwater environments up to 5,000 ft.

3.Global Footprint Expansion: Establish a joint facility in Rotterdam by Q3 2025 to serve European and West African markets with rapid response times and local spare parts inventory.

By leveraging complementary strengths, MechSea Solutions aims to reduce installation costs by 15% and improve mean time between failures (MTBF) by 25% for subsea ESP installations.
